Do I need to understand or manage anything?
Not at all. Tell us how many computers you have and we take care of the rest.
Will it slow down our computers?
No. Protection runs in the background and does not interrupt work. Devices need to meet basic technical requirements: 300 MB RAM, 1 GB disk space, and an internet connection. If your computer works without problems today, you will not notice the deployment.
Can you see our files and data?
No. We only see whether someone is attacking you. Nobody on our team sees the content of your files, invoices, or contracts. Everything works in line with GDPR.
What if we may already be compromised?
All the more reason to contact us. After deployment, we immediately see what is happening and remove any threat. You do not have to wait until something breaks.
How many devices should I protect?
Everything that connects to the internet. Start where you have banking, email, and client data - those are the first targets for attackers. We recommend protecting everything, as the price increases only slightly with each additional device.
Why annual billing?
It works like a phone plan or Netflix: you pay monthly, with a one-year contract. Cyber protection must run continuously, otherwise it does not make sense.
Do you speak Czech and how fast do you respond?
Yes, always in Czech. For international clients, we communicate in English. We handle standard questions within 24 hours. If a security incident occurs, we are there within 30 minutes, including weekends.
How do I know the protection is actually working?
After deployment, you will see the active protection icon on your computer. If something happens, you receive an immediate alert. You also receive a monthly report showing what the system detected and blocked, so you see exactly what you get.
What happens if someone attacks me even with your protection - who is responsible?
If there is a failure on our side - incorrect configuration, installation error, or monitoring outage - we take responsibility and guarantee compensation up to the price of your license. If an attacker demonstrably bypasses the system despite correctly deployed protection, we recommend combining our protection with cyber insurance.
How quickly does protection react to a new attack nobody has seen before?
Immediately. We do not rely only on classic virus databases. The system watches how files and programs behave, so it can catch even a never-before-seen attack before it causes damage.
What if I want to cancel the contract before the end of the year?
The contract can be terminated at any time by mutual agreement of both parties. We do not force anyone to stay.
Is my data stored in Czechia or abroad?
All data is stored exclusively in the Czech Republic. No US cloud, no server somewhere abroad. Everything follows European legislation and GDPR.
How do you know your team is truly expert?

Do you have insurance in case of damage?

What happens if VigilTech as a company stops operating?
Protection of your devices continues without interruption. If VigilTech stopped operating, we have contractually arranged for one of our verified partners to take over. You will not lose protection or data.
How does protection work for employees working from home?
If they work on a company computer, protection works fully at home as well, wherever they connect. If they work on a personal computer, we recommend protecting it too. One unprotected computer with access to company systems can put the whole company at risk.
We have branches in multiple locations - can you handle that?
Without a problem. Installation is remote, so we do not need to arrive physically. It does not matter whether your branches are in Prague, Ostrava, or abroad.
Do you protect phones too?
Yes, we also protect mobile devices: Android and iOS. Phones are now as common a target for attackers as computers, so we recommend protecting everything you use for work.
Do I need to report anything about this protection to authorities?
Most companies and sole traders do not need to report anything. The NIS2 law applies only to companies in sectors such as energy, healthcare, or transport, and also with at least 50 employees. If you are unsure whether you fall into this category, check nukib.cz or ask us and we will help.
